Scratch That, Next.
Origami Flipbook
We constantly revise ourselves everyday--adding, subtracting, and reinventing ourselves. Sometimes we tuck parts away for later review. If we don't like what we see, we can scrap that part of us and move on to the next possible extension of ourselves.
The project was made into a stop-motion flipbook because it shows a progression over time and gives life to 2D photographs. By letting viewers flip through the book, viewers gain control over how quickly the time within the flipbook passes. This flipping motion is metaphoric for how quickly or slowly the viewers go through their own changes in life--how long they linger on one identity before moving on to the next component.
